During summertime, the société de développement commercial (SDC) of Little Italy organizes multiple events in order to shine a light on its neighborhood and increase foot traffic. In 2021, the brand's new identity is adapted to several events, and to create continuation, the same approach is repeated in 2022 for the new summer season. Each event is given a key visual representing it while still allowing the brand's identity to transpire.

A major event!

The Piccola Festival is undoubtedly the most popular event in Little Italy, as it draws crowds of 150,000 to 200,000 people, so its communications have to be up to the level of such a large-scale event! The key visual's focus is to be attractive in order to grab the visitors' attention, increase traffic in the neighborhood and boost the merchants' sales. The logo series designed for the different events is also adapted to Festival Piccola, in the spirit of maintaining the visual and communicational coherence implemented during the past couple of years.

Piccola Festival's key visual must properly represent it for the public to get a clear idea of the event’s activities. Therefore, the day's activities are visually featured, such as the food, the music and the games planned. Little Italy's neighborhood remains at the heart of the event’s communications with illustrations of its parks and monuments. The event’s key visual is then adapted to multiple print and digital formats, and the event’s branding is entirely designed in order to give it a strong graphic personality.

Humming new communications.

Aside from the Piccola Festival, the SDC Petite Italie organizes other summer events and activities. For summer 2022, a public piano is installed in the neighborhood, and the SDC wants to encourage people to play it. A logo and a key visual are created while respecting the brand's event's visual style. This graphic continuity is essential, because more than two years after the launch of Little Italy's new visual identity, the brand is now recognizable at a glance thanks to its unique communications.
