With the mission of reinforcing the social, artistic and cultural aspects of its territory and bringing life to it, the SDC (“Société de Développement Commercial”) of Quartier D wants to establish a pop-up terrace on its public square. This initiative is launched in collaboration with a local microbrewery and the borough of Saint-Laurent in order to add a modern touch to the area and allow both its residents and visitors to enjoy a unique experience nearby. Since this initiative is very new to the neighborhood, a lot is at stake to meet the SDC’s business objectives while responding to its primary audience’s needs by putting in place an exceptional space design.

Attract the audience’s attention to the new terrace.

The execution of the pop-up terrace is critical since it has to attract anyone passing by Décarie Boulevard, either on foot or by car. To make this happen, the container present on the area's public square is branded with Quartier D's visual identity, and local events, such as the musical happy hours, are organized around it to increase foot traffic on the commercial artery and attract potential consumers. The space design thus gives a great advantage to the SDC and makes its visual identity easily recognizable and heavily present on its territory.

Creating an exceptional experience.

Creating an exceptional experience.

To satisfy the neighborhood’s primary clientele, each detail is thoroughly thought through, ranging from the facade’s design and space arrangement to lighting, greenery and accessories. In fact, a unique design touch is added to the space that makes the residents and visitors of the area enjoy an exceptional and original experience in the neighborhood. Needless to say, every single element is designed based on the SDC’s visual identity to increase its brand awareness and recognition.

Attracting sponsors through effective communications.

Promoting a project requires, first of all, an effective sales strategy and the right communication tools, starting with sales documents that must show the project’s high standards. In fact, these documents play a major role in attracting sponsors and raising considerable funds. With that in mind, the SDC’s sponsorship kit is designed in both digital and print versions to highlight the pop-up terrace and the people behind it. In parallel, the production of the brochures is closely managed in order to control the quality of the print.
